According to her biography, the young Holly Miranda starting making music over 17 years ago. She look like she's 19. The singer/songwriter is currently on tour to promote her self-titled sophomore album, which pushes her in a new direction.

Montreal's three-piece experimental pop band Braids will be back in the Twin Cities on Saturday, September 26th, in support of their third album Deep in the Iris (Arbutus Records).

The band was previously in town at the sold out Purity Ring concert in June 2015, but unfortunately due to three other shows taking place that day, we had to miss out. Fortunately, we were able to catch them with Wye Oak in May 2014.

Deep In The Iris, out now on Arbutus Records (World), and Flemish Eye (Canada).

Twin sisters Tasseomancy to open... we previously wrote about them in 2011 where I described them as harmonizing.

Special guest Jennifer Castle to open. We previously saw the Canadian singer/songwriter at the Dakota Jazz Club in October 2014.
