Nashville band The Delta Saints (which I have always confused with similar-sounding band names like The Duke Spirit and Delta Spirit) will be in town at the 7th Street Entry on August 17th, in support of Bones, the album produced, engineered and mixed by Third Man Records alum, Eddie Spear. We previously talked about the band in 2013, when they were touring for Death Letter Jubilee. The band is constantly on tour, averaging about 200+ shows a year.
Local bands Porno Wolves and Loons in the Attic to open the show.

Their self-titled debut album came out July 31, 2015 on RCA Records.
I got a sneak peek at their album tracklisting - and their song "Leaving Minnesota" will simply be the perfect song to end their set at the upcoming Varsity Theater show on August 18th.
