We've been observing Record Store Day since 2008 and it's always exciting to see people celebrating music. RSD is so popular that it inspired Cassette Store Day, which takes place in September.
Anyway, there are quite a few RSD events taking place in the Minneapolis area on Saturday, but I'll likely be over at Electric Fetus most of the day, before heading out to First Avenue to see They Might Be Giants. Since the headlining show is sold out, your next best option is to arrive before 3pm to see TMBG at Electric Fetus. I may be bringing a CD album cover to have John & John sign it (hopefully they'll have time for autographs).

Also worth noting is if you like physical CDs, a limited number of BNLX's new album Good Light will be made available at Electric Fetus. If you miss this, no worries, there will be a full blown international release of the album (CDs, vinyl, digital outlets) later in 2015.

There are way too many Record Store Day exclusives... but the one 7" vinyl I'm hoping to buy tomorrow (today) is Johnny Marr's "I Feel You" (Depeche Mode cover). The B-Side is a live version of The Smiths' classic "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want".
