It is hard to believe that Michigan's His Name Is Alive has been around for over 25 years. The experimental rock, sometime psychedelic and sometime shoegaze band started releasing self-made cassettes before signing onto 4AD Records in 1990 with Livonia.
With the 25th Anniversary tour, expect to hear plenty of Livonia, plus an assortment from their other 12 albums! On top of this, they have a brand new 2014 album called Tecuciztecatl (London London).
His Name Is Alive will be stopping in Minneapolis at the 7th Street Entry with The Murder of Crows this Wednesday, April 15th. We previously mentioned The Murder of Crows was made up of Alan Sparhawk and Gaelynn Lea.
Here are the remaining tour dates of the second half of the 25th Anniversary Tour:
Apr 07 - San Francisco CA @ Rickshaw Stop
Apr 10 - Portland OR @ Doug Fir
Apr 11 - Seattle WA @ Barboza
Apr 15 - Minneapolis MN @ 7th Street Entry
Apr 16 - Chicago IL @ Schubas
