FIRST AVENUE
Glen Hansard
Things are still pretty swell for Glen Hansard.
The Irish songwriter, actor, vocalist and guitarist for The Frames has an Oscar via his music from the film Once, a Tony from the musical of the same name, and is a two-time Grammy nominee. His solo full-length, Rhythm and Repose (ANTI- Records) remains critically acclaimed and has taken him around the world in headlining shows, and opening for Eddie Vedder.
An Evening with… should comfortably stretch those songs out, along with provide some insightful commentary and stories that only a well-traveled troubadour like Hansard, could tell.

MALL OF AMERICA
Rita Ora
Even with her record yet to be released domestically, Rita Ora is still making waves in the U.S.
A much bigger star in the UK and Europe, Ora makes a rare promotional performance and signing appearance at the Mall of America as part of its “Real.Big.Summer.” series of showcasing upcoming acts. Roc Nation/Columbia recently released her newest single, “I Will Never Let You Down” helmed by chart-topping, Grammy nominated producer Calvin Harris.
In 2012, she was the only artist to have three #1 singles in a row and our own Prince has vocally been a fan of Ora’s as well; so catch her in this free appearance, while you can.
