Turnout for the Triple Rock show was excellent with the majority of the fans sporting AGT T-Shirts (they sold out their stock of large shirts last night) in front singing along to every song (even at the non-singles!) …
The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's third studio album Bring Us Together (coming out September 16 via Hot Bus/Rough Trade) will be "darker", as songwriter Lars Iversen explains, "The sound is more processed, and less 'manual' than before- with more weighting on repetitive beats, bass grooves, chopped-up loops, and a more laidback vocal style."
To get you excited about the new record, check out the title track "Bring Us Together", available as a free download via soundcloud.com.
Here is their official confirmed October US Tour dates:
10/17: San Francisco, CA @ Bimbo's 365 Club
10/18: Los Angeles, CA @ Troubadour
10/20: Boston, MA @ Brighton Music Hall
10/22: New York, NY @ Highline Ballroom
10/23: Washington, DC @ The Howard Theatre
10/24: Philadelphia, PA @ Underground Arts
Unfortunately, for this initiate Bring Us Together tour, the band will only be playing major markets, such as Los Angeles and New York. Hopefully additional tour dates will be announced later, so they can truly bring us together.
