The “post-hymnal anthematic” band, which is often likened to The National due to New Zealand-born singer, Bradley Carter’s baritone voice, uses various musical textures to build their songs. After a successful EP, the six-piece has just released their full-length debut,
El Prado (Arts & Crafts) on a label showcase from the Toronto imprint that has previously nurtured Feist, Broken Social Scene, and Stars.
Toronto’s The Darcys and Calgary’s Reuben and the Dark, round out the full bill.
