Ida Maria's brand new EP, Accidental Happiness, came out last month February 18, 2014 on LAVA/Republic Records.
The Norwegian rocker took a break from music to fully recover from her alcohol addiction. Based on her bluesy "Boogie With The Devil's Soul" to her punky style of "I'm Bad News", Ida Maria is at her most creative with this new Accidental Happiness EP.
She's made the full EP available for streaming on soundcloud.com.
You can purchase the Accidental Happiness on iTunes.
Also, I could be wrong, but the last time Ida Maria was in Minneapolis was at Fine Line Cafe in 2009 - but she never showed up. So I never saw her live, but I would have love to hear "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked" ... Anyway, instead of canceling the show, Ladyhawke played the event for free.
Ida Maria is playing some dates in her country:
Mar 13 Ludo Bar og Scene Harstad, Norway
Mar 14 Ottos Finnsnes, Norway Tickets
Mar 15 Kooperativet Kulturscene Vadsø, Norway
Mar 21 Hurtigrutens Hus Stokmarknes, Norway
Mar 22 Folk & Fisk Bodø, Norway
Since Last Wednesday
