The Both is Aimee Mann and Ted Leo.
I've previously mentioned how much I like Aimee Mann (and 'Til Tuesday) and am always curious what Mann is up to. Her latest collaborative project is with Teo Leo (of Teo Leo and the Pharmacists) as a duo called The Both. Their self-titled debut album will come out April 15th on SuperEgo Records.
Funny enough, I've actually seen Ted Leo in 2001 at the 7th Street Entry. I have poor memory of the event, since it's been over a decade, but what I do remember was that the majority of the audience were there for Ted Leo - not for Juno, who was the headliner. That much will tell you that people love Ted Leo enough to make it out just to see the opening band.

Also note that Aimee Mann's new single is called "I'm Cured", the second single from the comedy album 2776: A Thousand Years of American Asskickery.
The love song, well if you can call it that, features Mann as the common cold to the man (not the Mann) who invented the cure. The video aired on My own Damn Channel this week (as in February 4th) and features Dave Foley (KITH) and David Wain (the State).
All proceeds from the song and the album go to support OneKid OneWorld, an acclaimed international organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in need, through targeted micro-projects such as building schools in Kenya and El Salvador.
