Lord Huron's steady rise to the spotlight continues on another lengthy US Tour. Their debut release was just two years ago called "Lonesome Dreams". They have a similar sound to bands like Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver, or what others call "mountain sound".
Lord Huron has already played all the major festivals SXSW, Lollapolooza, and Outside Lands Festival. My first time catching these guys was last May in Brighton England at "Great Escape Festival", very impressive live performance. The LA rockers have already played on the Tonight Show as well.
On their current tour over half the shows are sold out including Nashville, Dallas, San Fran, and two performances in Los Angeles. Superhumanoids (also from LA) are currently on tour with Lord Huron.
Can't wait to catch their show this Saturday at the Civic Theatre in New Orleans! Catch them while you can!

We missed Who at the 7th Street (01/18/14) on account that I don't go out in the winter... but it looks like she's coming back April 11th at a venue called Whole Music Club (which is at The U of M.)
