Because it was the smaller of the two conventions, I did not see any schedule or maps or special panels or programs. Instead, it was up to you to go searching for your favorite dealers or comic book creators.
I didn't get what I wanted because I was looking for very specific Absolute Editions. Most dealers didn't have any, possibly because they are higher-ticketed items and they can't move them (especially if they are selling it for retail). My next thing was I looked for deals. If you don't mind spending all your time in the quarter bins, you'll find a few tables with these discounted comics, but they were often full of people. I ended up buying five hardcover old Atlas (pre-Marvel) horror collection, which I thought were a steal at $10 (retail new in stores for $59.99).
As I previously mentioned, the turnout was really good. At the peak, you could barely walk down the aisle or had enough room to flip through the comic boxes. Fans of all ages was at the show and there were plenty of cosplayers among them.
The guest of honor was writer Mark Waid, currently working on Hulk, Daredevil, Thrillbent, and Green Hornet among other things. You could also commission various artists, including Peter Krause (Captain Marvel), Doug Mahnke (JLA) and writer/artist Dan Jurgens (famous for his 'Death of Superman' run).
