It's been a long time the sisters Bianca (Coco) and Sierra (Rosie) Casady stopped by Minneapolis, and thanks to the Walker Art and the Cedar, they were able to bring them here. But just before the show, it was announced Busdriver was not opening up the show, leaving CocoRosie to start their set incredibly early at 8:15pm.
So no one was expecting Busdriver, yet, somehow, between CocoRosie's set, the rapper made a surprise entrance and sat on the throne. See photo below, courtesy of Elroy.
As reported, fans were treated to "Child Bride", "Gravediggress" and other songs from Tales of a Grass Widow (released earlier in May via City Slang), through Coco's child-like voice and Sierra's classically trained operatic vocals.
