Charli XCX is a British singer/songwriter with a new album called True Romance. Although she's quite talented as a musician, she may actually be known more as a music writer, having scored a massive hit with "I Love It" for Icona Pop.
Anyway, Charli XCX had to postpone last month's U.S. tour to support Paramore in the U.K., but she's back now to play some shows this November … however, Minneapolis' date is nowhere to be found on the new itinerary! The closest city is in Chicago on November 6th. She's so popular in Chicago that she sold out Schubas Tavern and had to quickly add a second late (10pm) show. And, if you were wondering, yes, that second show is sold out too!
Opening up for all U.S. dates will be Kitten from Los Angeles. You may recall that we wrote about singer Chloe Chaidez when she was 17.
What's new with Kitten? Well, the band released their Like A Stranger EP on vinyl (on Oct 16th), so expect them to play some of those songs when you see them on tour with Charli XCX.
