Winner of BRIT Awards' 2008 Best Female Artist Kate Nash will be touring the U.S. this fall, starting in Milwaukee and ending in Los Angeles. She will be likely playing songs from her third studio album Girl Talk.
The story behind that album was it was written in 2011, but due to disagreement in editorial direction from her then-record label Fiction Records, she decided to release the album with her vision thanks to crowd funding via PledgeMusic.

Widowspeak is playing a number of dates with Iron & Wine, and then in October, the duo will team up with Pure Bathing Culture. The band is touring in support of their sophomore album Almanac. You may remember their Minneapolis saga, having missed their show with 2:54 but only to resurfaced again at the same venue months later when 2:54 was playing next door to Widowspeak!
Capture Track announced that Widowspeak will be releasing a special 6-track EP called The Swamps, out on October 29th, the day before their appearance at the 7th Street in Minneapolis.

She is known for her intimate live shows, so I'm looking forward to seeing her tomorrow at the Ice House in Minneapolis. She's currently on tour in the U.S. in support of her latest album, It's Up to Emma, out now on Drag City.
After the Ice House show, she's probably going to take a much-deserved break, and then head out to play All Tomorrow's Party (ATP) Festival in the U.K.
