I saw Bleeding Rainbow in 2011, when they opened up for the Dodos. Back then, the band was called Reading Rainbow and they were a duo (Sarah Everton and Rob Garcia) and I thought they sounded more like harmonizing indiepop. Wow, what a difference a few years make, the band is now a quartet and they are loud and borderline punk/rock.
Most of their set included songs from their latest album, Yeah Right, which was released earlier this year (January 29th) on Kanine Records. Songs like "Waking Dream" and "Get Lost" sounded really fun and played with lots of energy. So much energy that their guitarist Al Creedon broke a guitar string or two and had to borrow a guitar to continue the gig.
