As you know, we've been writing about Laura Marling since 2007. We obviously love her and will jump at any opportunity to talk about her.
If you recall Brody's report from Marling's two gigs in New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama, it was like night and day due to popularity and attendance. The setlist was the same for both shows, but she unveiled her then-new songs, "I Was An Eagle", etc., which would later appear in her new album Once I Was An Eagle.
Laura Marling's new U.S. Summer 2013 tour, in support of that album, starts tomorrow, August 14th in Minneapolis' Woman's Club Theatre (you can purchase tickets here.)

Remember V V Brown? The British singer Vanessa Brown, or better known as VV Brown, had a huge splash with her debut album Travelling like the Light. Well the good news is that she is back, with a second album Samson & Delilah coming out October 8th in the U.S. on YOY Records. According to report, she's now singer/songwriter/record producer/record label owner, so she's putting a lot of her heart and soul into the new record.
Hopefully, V V will be touring the U.S. in support of the new album (I've read that she's coming here in the Fall), but in the meantime here are her UK dates:
