BITTERROOT FIRES
|
Anyway, I caught the entire set from The Bitterroot Fires. Their music is folk, but a little experimental (including some weird electronic instrument as well as the traditional banjo). They ended their set with "The Postman's Boy".
CLOCKS & CLOUDS
|
The first thing I noticed about Clocks & Clouds was that violinist Stephanie Shogren was very, as the young people calls it, "preggers". The band doesn't seem to have a singer; their music is straight instrumental with an orchestra feel of cello & violin, but with a strong percussion. Interesting song from their set included "We Shall Never Surrender".
Marah in the Mainsail brought their personal lighting for their stage setup. It actually didn't help the 7th Street poor lighting, but it's different. Since this was the show for Devil Weeds & Dour Deeds, they played songs from the EP, including "Drag You Down".
