Well it seems the kids have been busy, doing well on Triple J, #24 on the ARIA Charts, and playing at the Big Day Out.

We've already mentioned these hungry kids quite a few times. Hungry Kids of Hungary have a new album called You're a Shadow, which was released February 22, 2013, in Australia via stop start/EMI.
The Australian band is also playing The Great Escape, which we are covering this year.

One of the artist songwriter/producer (and actor!) Kid Cudi (Scott Mescudi), has a new third album Indicud. If you're into the DJ/remix scene, chances are you've heard of Cudi, who was "discovered" by Kanye West when he signed Cudi to his record label GOOD Music about four years ago. Currently, Kid Cudi is signed to his own record label, Wicked Awesome Records and Republic Records.
Indicud came out last month, April 16, to dominating the iTunes charts as the #1 album overall and #1 Hip-Hop album for that release week (and he had to bump it a week earlier because the fan demand was so high).
Critics are already calling Indicud, Kid Cudi's "best work to date"... including his hits "Just What I Am" (ft. King Chip), "King Wizard" and "Immortal."

The Oslo's six-piece indie pop collective Kid Astray just released their debut single called "The Mess". You can check out the song via soundcloud.
"The Mess" went "Untouched Song of the Week" on their national Norwegian National Broadcaster NRK.
Check out their EP, Easily Led Astray, on July 9th on Boombox / Mom+Pop Records.
