That didn't take long, shortly after announcing a Saturday show at First Avenue, the band sold out the historic venue. They added another date (Sunday), and, of course, as expected, also sold out the second date. Fans lucky enough to score tickets, this weekend will be all about Cloud Cult.
Opening up for Cloud Cult on both dates will be JBM (aka Jesse Marchant). You may remember reading about JBM here, a Canadian singer/songwriter.
If you were lucky enough to score tickets, I will see you guys on the Sunday show. I am expecting the band will be doing songs from their ninth studio album, Love, which just came out last month.

The Neighbourhood are: Jesse Rutherford (vocals), Jeremy Freedman (guitar), Zach Abels (guitar), Mikey Margott (bass) & Bryan Sammis (drums).
The Los Angeles quintet's debut album, I Love You., just came out last week on Columbia Records. The band is enjoying a bit of buzz from their "Sweater Weather" song, currently top 5 at Alternative Radio. The video alone reached over 2 million views.
It would appear, in addition to the release, the band will be headlining (kicking off May 20th in Sacramento) a ton of dates throughout the country, hitting all the major cities: New York, Las Vegas, Austin, Sacramento, and even Minneapolis.

We've mentioned The Love Language before, it would seem that the band is back with a forthcoming album, Ruby Red, for July 23rd, on one of my favorite label, Merge Records. UK fans will have to wait until August 6th to hear the album.
No other details were given, other than that if you one of the first 250 fans that pre-order the album at the Merge store, you will receive a special limited 11-track cassette (yes, cassette) of Black Mountain Demos. It's totally worth it to get something extra, especially if you love the band.
Although, if you ask around, no one here at W♥M understand the whole cassette revival. We've seen the trends at merch tables and special collectible items from musicians, but we still don't get it.
