What's creepy: how all these album artwork features the sky and clouds (which is the opposite of caves). Musicians, what are you guys smoking in your band caves?
Read More Caveman I can't believe it's nearly August already. I'm going to see New York's Caveman this August 28th at 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis.
The first thing I noticed is that the band's album is called CoCo Beware, I'll bet it's a reference to WWF's Koko…

The Cave Singers is from Seattle, Washington, featuring former band members from the Smiths-inspired band name called Pretty Girls Make Graves.
Although the band originally signed to my favorite Matador Records, with their current and previous album, they're currently on Jagjaguwar Records. Their latest album, Naomi , was released March 5th.
They are kicking off their national tour next week in support of Naomi .

This Brighton-based band is releasing three new songs in support of their new single/EP called Rio (available April 28th). These new songs are the first since their debut album Votive Life, which was released in 2011.
You may remember hearing about Cave Paintings last year, as they tour with Mercury Prize-winners Alt-J and Supergrass' Gaz Coombes.
As for Rio, a CD-release show is scheduled in London for May 10th at Dalston Roof Gardens, although they list that a full UK/European tour will soon follow.
