Pet Shop Boys just released their third single, "Memory of the Future", taken from their album, Elysium. To help promote the new release, PSB launched free Memory of the future e-card and Memory of the future time capsule.
Fans are encouraged to upload photos and videos to the time capsule - if I were to hazard a guess, it's probably going to be used in a music video. I've seen this done with other popular artists and they always turn out so good - both for the fans and the artists. I guess we'll have to wait until Spring, when they will reveal their intentions…. But if you're a PSB, I suggest you upload your pictures now!
Singer Neil Tennant commented on the new Stuart Price remix, "Stuart Price made the new seven-inch mix of ‘Memory of the future’ for us and then extended it into this fantastic futuristic dance mix. We've always liked Ulrich Schnauss's visionary albums and are thrilled that he has created a beautiful mix which sounds both like him and us."

DreamWorks Classics will be releasing Jackson 5ive: The Complete Animated Series on January 15th, 2013. I'm pretty excited to hear about the release, because I grew up in the 80s and never experienced "Jacksonmania" and this is the first time the television series have been collected on DVD and Blu-ray. Not only are all the episodes compiled, but 46 original Jackson 5ive songs have been remastered, according to the cover sleeve.
Anyway, you can buy the release directly at smtvshop.com, but you should start seeing the DVDs at Best Buy or Target (or wherever you buy your discs). Suggested retail prices are $32.99 (DVD) or $39.99 (DVD/Blu-ray combo). It just makes sense for you to shell out the extra few bucks to get the Blu-ray.
