Trust (or is it TRST?) is a Canadian Goth band that feels like they were transported in time machine to a melancholy-enriched teenage post angst age. The ghastly vocals fit perfectly to the upbeat tempo. Arranged in a way that if you close your eyes, images of strobe lights in a dirty industrial warehouse is what you'll see. Personally I cannot wait to see Trust live, for the shear spectacle of what it could be.
Goth music has survived under the radar for a long time. It's partially because trends in music changes but the underground still pumps out bands like this. Put some black bed spreads over the windows, turn off the lights, light some incense, light a few dozen tea candles, and fill the room with the sounds of Trust.
To quote Bela Lugosi "Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."
"Dressed For Space" song is taken from Trust's TRST album is out now on Arts & Crafts. You can hear it on soundcloud.com. They are currently on tour with The Faint:
