Ticket stub to 60Ft Dolls at the Whisky a Go-Go, Los Angeles (03/08/1997)

The Whisky a Go-Go is a smaller venue, it wasn't as crowded as when I saw Sleeper two years prior, but there were some dedicated fans in the audience (including the Welsh flag-waving fans that always seem to pop up at Welsh shows).
60Ft Dolls played almost every song from their debut album, which is great because all I really wanted to hear was "No 1 Pure Alcohol" which they did fairly early into their set. It was loud and fun, and everything that I had hoped from the band.
We hung around the venue after the gig and the band took us backstage to hang out a little bit. As we walked in, a girl walked passed us and threw up on the floor! We joked it was a typical rock 'n roll lifestyle.
The band signed my Pig Valentine single, as you can clearly see the autographs below.
When Britpop died, so did their UK label (Indolent) and the band just sort of disappeared. Shame that America never really embraced the band, considering their punk/pop sound was commercial enough to have been signed by David Geffen.
