They did a double set, with a 15 minute break at 8pm. The first half was a little more improv and goofy. Starting off with some harmonizing and "Honeybee" and constantly asking each other what song to do next.
They really hit their stride when they came back with the second set. The second had a more acoustic guitar focus, rather than straight harmonizing and a cappella style singing.
The second set included a few covers, including a Tom Waits' "Green Grass" and the DeZurik Sisters' "I Left Her Standing There" (complete with chicken yodeling). They even threw in another "Animal Tracks" (which they did in the first set), for the late comers.
For the finale, they did a song version of a Hopi prayer, "Now I Walk in Beauty". At first it was sung slowly so everyone can clearly hear the simple lyrics, but then the song was broken into three section of the crowd singing at different time. I'm sure I messed up a few times, but it sounded great anyway.
Mountain Man is currently on tour. They have recently released Live at the Wiltern on audio and video on July 5th, exclusively via iTunes.
