Despite all the Christmas joys, I honestly don't like this time of year. It's freezingly cold here in Minneapolis and my car died this morning, forcing me to spend an extra long thirty minutes with frozen fingers. I'm going to buy a pair of gloves and leave it in the car now. Anyway, below are a few Christmas greetings from some record labels with the holiday spirit:
PLANTING SEEDS
Planting Seeds Records is based out of Virginia, and we've mentioned them a few times here.
They're offering a free seven-track digital Christmas EP, available at plantingseedsrecords.com.
One of my favorite xmas song is "Mele Kalikimaka", the Hawaiian Christmas song (this goes without saying that the ukulele is often associated with this song - but I didn't really detect it in this version), so ... if there is one song you'd want to download, it's the cover song from The Bedroom Set.

INDIECATER
Indiecater is a record label based in Ireland, although they don't really consider themselves as a traditional label. They have an eleven-track Christmas compilation streaming over at indiecater.com. You can pick up the physical CD for €5.
This is actually a tradition, these Christmas releases, might as well buy a whole set with 2008 and 2009.
POLYVINYL
