I believe the entire lyrics to this song is "Who let the dogs out? woof, woof, woof, woof"
This reggae pop song basically put Baha Men, from Nassau, Bahamas, on the music map. The lyrics are so simple and catchy that basically people were taking the song and putting in their own item. Like "who let the (insert item here) out?"
The song was so popular that even won a Grammy in 2000 for "Best Dance Recording", and really, who can argue with that?
As with other famous hit songs, it wasn't long before they were asking "who let the lawyers out?" As it turns out, the writer, Anslem Douglas, of the "Who Let the Dogs Out" song actually recorded a chorus version of it for a radio jingle in 1995 for Just Platinum Recording Studios/Action House Studios in Toronto, Canada... so Baha Men settled out of court.
