We're not an "MP3 Blog", but since this is a free MP3 courtesy of Big Scary Music, you can download the free houseofbrothers-deadman.mp3. Maybe if we get some positive feedbacks, I will post more legal MP3 links.
It's actually really hard to review a band based on one song, so the song is okay. I don't know, there's an acoustic guitars and I think there's some violins in there somewhere.
The only thing I really know is that it's the title track from his debut EP of the same name, and it's supposed to be released on the 26th of November 2007. If you like what you heard, you can pre-order the EP from Big Scary Monster and get a free, limited edition badge (that's buttons/pins for us non-Brits).
So, House of Brothers is basically Andrew Jackson from Nottingham, England. He was a former member of The Murder of Rosa Luxemburg (who probably got their name from the Socalist leader). As far as I can tell, House of Brothers is a lot mellowier and traditional than The Murder of Rosa Luxemburg.
By the way, if you were wondering about Big Scary Monster, they're a small label based in the UK. They're probably best known for signing Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. (who probably has the best band name ever).
