Hey Scenesters! is taken from UK band The Cribs' second album The New Fellas released in 2005.
The band is currently working on their third album in Vancouver with Franz Ferdinand's frontman Alex Kapranos as producer. He was hired for the producer job after The Cribs' supported Franz Ferdinand on their US tour last year.
I chose this song from the album because, well, I like it...
Bonus: Their debut 7" single Another Number from 2003 can be downloaded from their website. But be warned - it's not as good as their recent stuff.
Completely useless trivia: The 3 band members are brothers - two of them being twins.

The Cribs are surprisingly charming and entertaining live -- I really didn't want to like them (mostly because of this song, because it's just too "something" for me to really love it), but they won me over, anyway. It will be interesting to see what Alex K. brings to the table -- he's proven himself quite a renaissance man of late, with publishing a book about food, on top of being the stylish indie rock frontman.
