Sahara Hotnights is an all-girl group from Sweden. Formed in 1992, but did not release Suits Anyone Fine (EP) until 1997. They signed to a Swedish record label, Speech Records, and released their first album, C'mon, Let's Pretend, in 1999. BMG Europe quickly signed the band in 2000, and released Jennie Bomb and Kiss & Tell under their RCA label.
I'm speculating that they did not have a good relationship with BMG Records because their forth-coming fourth studio album will not be on RCA, but from Stand By Your Band Records (which sounds suspiciously like a label they've decided to form).
At the end of January 2007, the new single "Cheek to Cheek" was released via the internet. I was suprised how good and catchy the song is - despite the, er, cheeky, title and that saxaphone bit(!!) But the most unfortunate thing: if you live outside of Sweden, you could not legally purchase this song. Kind of annoying. I am including the song here, although you can listen to song on their myspace page.
Oooh, new Sahara Hotnights album?
I love these gals.

[this is good] Gack. I am extremeley irritated because I've been trying and trying to get this song, but as you mentioned, you cannot legally get it outside of Sweden! Aaaaugh!
