Adult. (note the period) is a married couple from Detroit, Michigan.

They sound very experimental and can probably be described as "Electroclash".

They have a new album, "Why Bother?", to be released March 20th. Here's a song from their last album.

The singer reminded me of Poly Styrene from seventives UK punk band X-Ray Spex. Their song Oh Bondage, Up Yours still sounds great today (if you can tolerate the saxophone solo that lasts the entire song!).
