Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group (featuring guest vocalist Teri of Le Butcherettes) just announced their international touring plans, in support of Octopus Kool Aid (which just saw release last week, July 24th, 2012, via Sargent House). Joining the Grammy Award winner, Omar Rodriguez Lopez (The Mars Volta, At The Drive-In) will be Teresa Suarez aka Teri Gender Bender of Le Butcherettes.
Rodriguez Lopez also appeared on this month's cover of the relaunched ALARM magazine. The magazine is available for FREE for iPad users for a limited time. I downloaded the magazine and it looks great.

The Mountain Goats' new single, "Cry for Judas," is available as a free download. The song is from the forthcoming Transcendental Youth (out on October 2nd, 2012, via Merge Records). The first 1,000 pre-orders will get a limited 7" single with the album.

We've written about Eugene Francis Jnr a few times. The thing with the British is that they abbreviate Junior as "Jnr" (we drop the 'n').
