Maps, aka James Chapman, just released "Merry Christmas My Friend" in celebration of the holiday. You can find it on Soundcloud.
Over 70 submissions were sent in and Maps announced that the winning remix is by Fuzzy Saboteur. Chapman chose the remix because it is "interesting, creative and I love it when it kicks in with the blissed out synths." You can listen to the winning song here:
Vicissitude was primarily recorded at Maps' home in Northampton and was mixed by Ken Thomas (Sugarcubes, M83, Sigur Ros) and Jolyon Thomas. It was released in June 25th, 2013, on Mute Records.

Libera is an all-boy English vocal group, mostly from South London, and directed by Robert Prizeman. Like Celtic Woman, they are probably best known for appearing on various PBS specials. The not-for-profit charity group currently has the #1 Christmas album on Billboard's "Traditional Classical Albums" chart with the release of Angels Sing: Christmas in Ireland live recording. The album was released on November 5, 2013, via Warner Classics.
Angels Sing: Christmas in Ireland is currently available on CD & DVD and features 14 holiday carols. Six were previously never recorded by the group, as well as the classic "Danny Boy" (performed live in the iconic St Patrick’s Cathedral in Armagh, Ireland) and traditional favorites like" Joy to the World," "Silent Night," and "Carol of the Bells."
Libera recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and NBC's TODAY show.
I am told that Libera will return to North America in the spring for a full-scale concert tour, but there are currently no touring details.
